He's here

On Wednesday May 16th at 10:00am (UTC+1) in Ljubljana, Slovenia...
Alexander Kyle Mormance was born!!
Weighing in at 7 pounds and 7 oz and 20 inches long with a very "large head" as the nurse who was measuring him said.  Good thing for Sharon, and him I guess,  he was born via c-section.
The name Alexander means "defender of mankind" and was my great grandpa's name and Sharon's dad's middle name.  Also, Alex is the name of one of the students we love dearly here in Slovenia. So it seemed fitting on all accounts.

Here are a few photos of our little dude.

Now close your eyes and picture me standing on a majestic cliff somewhere in Africa as I hold him high in the air as the beginning from the "circle of life" from Lion King plays in the background.
